  6. Performing a case study elaborating on design factors covering the following items
    • Explaining different Modes of the software (Rating, Simulation and Design)
    • Process Requirements
      • Fluid properties required for thermal design
      • Introducing process conditions and fluids to the software
      • Heat Balance
      • Allowable Pressure Drop
      • Fouling factor
      • Specifying shell side and tube side fluids
    • Geometry
      • Tube Selection: Size, Length, Pitch, Layout, Thickness, Number of Passes and Material
